Reclaiming Pleasure with Marlee Liss

This virtual workshop on Reclaiming Pleasure will be facilitated by award-winning Somatic Educator, Restorative Justice Advocate, and Speaker Marlee Liss as part of Consent & Care Week at Concordia University. We’ll be talking about understanding trauma responses and trauma-informed intimacy skills, sifting out authentic desires from societal sexual scripts, building associations between pleasure and safety, and more.

Facilitator Bio

Marlee Liss (she/her) is a somatic educator, social worker, author and Jewish lesbian feminist. Her personal sexual assault case made history in the North American justice system when it became the first to conclude with restorative justice through the courts. Since then, she has supported thousands internationally in learning inclusive consent education and trauma-informed pleasure. Marlee's work has been featured in Forbes, Huff Post, Buzzfeed, the Mel Robbins Show and more.
