A facilitator is an orchestrator who might guide a conversation in a workplace or group project (i.e. imagine unhappy peers), lead a presentation, or host a fun dinner with friends. The underlying skills for these events are similar –– they are grounded in the ability to take the pulse of the energy in the room, include as many views and voices as possible, and know when to jazz up the energy throughout.
