Are you interested in working with people from coast to coast while interpreting the history, architecture, and legislative process of Canada’s Parliament?

Would you like to work in the heart of democracy leading guided tours, facilitating programming and welcoming visitors to Parliament?

Are you interesting in assisting and serving Parliamentarians, parliamentary staff, and the public?

If so, the Library of Parliament has a unique and exciting summer opportunity for You!

The Parliamentary Guide program at the Library of Parliament offers full-time, bilingual students from across Canada the opportunity to work on Parliament Hill.

This unique experience allows you to refine your public speaking and presentation skills, enabling you to captivate any audience. You'll gain a deep understanding of Canada’s rich history, political landscape, and the stunning art and architecture that defines Parliament Hill.

By working alongside a dynamic team, you'll sharpen your interpersonal and collaboration skills, while boosting your creativity and critical thinking. Supportive mentors and supervisors will guide your professional development, helping your professional growth.

In addition, the program enhances your client service and communication skills, ensuring you stand out in any setting. This is an ideal opportunity to unlock your potential while working in the heart of Canada's democracy.
