In this active and dynamic workshop, we will explore the mindset required, as well as the essential strategies necessary, for effective public speaking in everyday situations, which are often improvisational in nature. You will have the opportunity to practice impromptu speaking and receive immediate feedback in a fun, low-stakes environment. Together, we will identify your unique voice to support you in developing a fluid and adaptable style that is authentically you! Speakers at all levels are encouraged to attend.

You will learn:

  • Techniques to apply a winning spontaneous speaking mindset
  • Strategies to feel confident in spontaneous public speaking situations
  • Effective improvisational public speaking tools to apply in all impromptu situations
  • Proven methods to connect with all audiences
  • How to identify and use your authentic voice

In Part 1, you will have the opportunity to explore improvisational public speaking techniques and practice informal and often impromptu everyday public speaking. Consider the Part 2 workshop to explore and practice prepared public speaking and/or the Public Speaking Bootcamp, which offers public speaking fundamentals and a focus on common barriers including fear/anxiety and perfectionism.
