Designing and leading workshops is a valuable, transferable skill. Whether in school or the workplace, many people find themselves creating and facilitating learning experiences. But where should you begin?

In this hands-on session, you’ll create an outline for a workshop of your own.

Together, we will:

  • Define a concept or framework to teach, helping you set the scope of your workshop
  • Develop activity prompts that allow participants to apply what they’ve learned
  • Craft reflection prompts that encourage iterative learning and deeper engagement

By the end, you’ll have the first draft of your workshop outline. Not to mention, you’ll pick up tips from watching me facilitate (we call this "modelling" in learning design).

*Note from the facilitator: This will be an interactive Zoom session with cameras on and breakout rooms. That way you get real feedback and meet cool people. Don't worry if you're intimidated by big group sessions. It'll be a warm and welcoming vibe. I never put anyone on the spot, I promise.

Facilitator: Alexandra Allen, Course Designer & Trainer
