Held at Montreal’s iconic Cinéma du Parc, this event involved a special screening of Helene Klodawsky’s NFB documentary film Stolen Time. This film follows human rights lawyer, Melissa Miller, as she (and others) call for justice by taking on the corporate for-profit nursing-home industry, notorious for its lack of transparency and accountability. The screening was followed by an expert panel discussion moderated by the Director of engAGE, Kim Sawchuk. Panel participants included Laurel Young (Associate Director of engAGE), CREGÉS Director & engAGE researcher Patrik Marier & CREGÉS research-practitioner Sandra Smele.
This event was held in partnership with CREGÉS and the NFB.
