As part of Campus Sustainability Month, please join Concordia staff member and alumna Melodie Le Siege to talk about zero-waste living.

Melodie will share:

  • Her journey to a plant-based and zero waste lifestyle
  • Getting started with zero waste
  • Plant-based cuisine tips and tricks
  • Beyond waste – how living sustainably trickles into consumer and household habits

Also, there will be a trash-sorting station to help demystify moments when you find yourself standing in front of the garbage, recycling and compost bin, trying to figure out what goes where.

Who is Melodie Le Siege?

Melodie Le Siege is a strategic communications professional and passionate advocate for sustainable living. She is a talented home cook, a graduate of the Future Food Institute's plant-based culinary program and has practised a zero-waste lifestyle for seven years.

Best known for her honest and relatable approach, Melodie shares recipes, do-it-yourself inspiration, green cleaning, eco-parenting, and waste-reduction tips on Instagram and blog meloandmills.com.

She has long believed in the power of individual action to inspire optimism and spread awareness.
