At Concordia

  • Centre for Gender Advocacy (Concordia): Services and resources offered free of charge to the Concordia and greater Montreal community, including peer support, advocacy, safer sex resources and trans health resources.
  • Queer Concordia: An on-campus resource centre for 2SLGBTQIA+ students and allies.

Phone and text support

  • Interlinge: Through a 24-hour listening service, Interlinge provides support to LGBTQ+ people and their loved ones and community.
  • Trans Lifeline: Trans Lifeline provides trans peer support. Run by and for trans people.
  • SextEd: Text to get confidential answers to your sex, dating and health questions within 24 hours. Whether you’re trans, queer, or both, SextEd write answers with you in mind. 

Community organizations 

  • Aide aux Trans du Québec: Supports trans, nonbinary, and questioning individuals.
  • Centre de solidarité lesbienne (CSL):  A community organization that is dedicated to promoting health and well-being for women and non- binary people of sexual diversity.
  • Project 10: A community organization that provides peer counselling, support, and referrals to lesbians, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirited, intersex, queer, and questioning youth aged 14-25.
  • Head & Hands: Offers several free medical, social, and legal services to youth. Jeunesse 2000 is a non-judgmental and welcoming drop-in centre that caters to Montréal youth between the ages of 12 and 25 years old.
  • West Island LGBTQ2+ Centre: Provides support and referrals, and a drop-in to young people with questions about their sexuality or gender identity.
  • ASTT(e)Q: Provides free and confidential support to trans and gender-questioning people as well as their loved ones and family members.
  • Jeunesse Lambda: Une organisation qui été fondé par et pour les jeunes de moins de 25 ans LGB francophone de Montréal. C’est un groupe de discussions, d’activités thématiques et de support sous différentes formes par et pour les jeunes 2SLGBTQIA+ ou en questionnement de 14 à 25 ans dans la grande région de Montréal.
  • AlterHeros: Fosters the development of individuals in relation to their sexual orientation, gender identity and sexuality. Their services are mainly tailored towards the needs of young people aged 14 to 35, though their resources are available to any individual who may need information or support regardless of age.
  • LGBT+ Family Coalition: A community rights organization that aims for the social and legal recognition of families from sexual diversity and gender plurality.

Clinics and health promotion

  • McGill University Sexual Identity Clinic (MUSIC): Provide mental health services for LGBTQ+ families.
  • Clinique Quorum: Provides a variety of services that include a pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) clinic, post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) and transgender care (including hormone therapy).
  • Meraki Health Centre: Offers a variety of services for transgender individuals that includes initiation and follow-up for hormone therapy as well as counselling.
  • RÉZO: A community-based organization for gay and bisexual men, cis and trans, in Montreal whose focus is overall health promotion as well as the prevention of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
