Dean's Awards for Excellence - Call for Nominations - 2017-2018

Each year, the Dean of Arts and Science (FAS) offers annual awards to recognize outstanding contributions to the Faculty by faculty members and staff.  

For faculty members, we offer awards for Excellence in Scholarship (Junior, Mid-Career, and Senior), Excellence in Teaching, and Excellence in Academic Service; and for staff members we offer an award for Excellence in Service to the Faculty by a Staff Member. Depending on the pool of nominations we receive, we may offer up to a total of six awards per year (with up to two per specific category).

All members of FAS are encouraged to circulate the Dean’s Awards - Call for Nominations - 2017-2018 as widely as possible. 

Please send this call out to all faculty and staff members in your department and student associations, and please post a print-out of it prominently where appropriate.   

To be eligible for consideration, nominations must reach the office of the Dean no later than April 27, 2018.
