Sigal Barkai, former Azrieli Institute post-doctoral fellow, publishes new book about gender and Israeli theatre

Sigal Barkai, who spent the 2017-8 academic year as a post-doctoral fellow at the Azrieli Institute of Israel Studies, has published her new book A Stage for Masculinities: Representations of Israeli Soldiers in the Theatre. Dr. Barkai currently teaches at Kibbutzim College in Tel Aviv where her book will be formally launched on May 26, 2019. The Institute congratulates Dr. Barkai on her new milestone accomplishment.
