Csaba Nikolenyi, Director of the Azrieli Institute of Israel Studies, will be moderating a packed panel on the Impact of the US Elections on the US-Israel Relations. The panel consists of Dr. Yael Aronoff (Director of the Michael and Elaine Serling Institute for Jewish Studies and Modern Israel and is Serling Chair of Israel Studies. Dr. Aronoff is Associate Professor of Political Science/International Relations in James Madison College at MSU. Dr. Aronoff is currently serving as the President of the Association of Israel Studies), Dr. Daniel C. Kurtzer (Professor of Middle East Policy Studies at Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs. During a 29-year career in the U.S. Foreign Service, Ambassador Kurtzer served as the United States Ambassador to Israel and as the United States Ambassador to Egypt. He served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs and as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Intelligence and Research), Dr. Jonathan Rynhold (Director of the Argov Center for the Study of Israel and the Jewish People. His latest book, The Arab-Israel Conflict in American Political Culture, will soon be published by Cambridge University Press) and Dr. Tamara Cofman Wittes (a senior fellow in the Center for Middle East Policy at Brookings, where she focuses on U.S. policy in the Middle East).
