Dr. Aidan Beatty, a past Postdoctoral Fellow at the Azrieli Institute of Israel Studies (2015-16) has won the prestigious Loewenstein-Wiener Fellowship awarded by the Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives. Dr. Beatty's research will examine why sexual content often features in antisemitic visual material from the medieval period until today. During the term of his fellowship, he will mainly be looking at material produced by the far-right after 1945.
To listen to Dr. Beatty talk about the subject to the Birkbeck Institute for the Study of Antisemitism in London.
