The Department of Economics celebrates its students' research on Spring Poster Day
The Department of Economics presented the fourth edition of Spring Poster Day on May 12, 2021. This virtual edition of the event saw some excellent research from ten or our MA and PhD students in Economics.
Dr. Effrosyni Diamantoudi, Dean of Graduate Studies, congratulated all participants to the event, and presented two awards:
- Best MA poster: Jijia Cao, A Game Theoretic Study of Soccer
- Best PhD poster: Olha Hnatyshyn, Multiple International Environmental Agreements: an alternative approach to tackle climate change.
In addition, Manuel Lepage Lévesque, president of the Economics Graduate Students Association (EGSA), presented the association's award for best poster to Hangyeol Seo for Comparison of the COVID-19 Impacts on Labour Markets in Canada and South Korea.
The Department thanks the School of Graduate Studies for its support through the Graduate Community Building Fund, as well as the members of the jury: Dr. Md. Nazmul Ahsan, Dr. Christian Belzil, and Dr. Anthony A. Noce.
