Jorgen Hansen is the recipient of the 2021 Concordia Academic Leadership Award

We are proud to announce that Dr. Hansen, Professor and Chair of the Department of Economics, is the recipient of the 2021 Academic Leadership Award. This award recognizes faculty members who demonstrated exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the university community.
We salute Dr. Hansen’s outstanding involvement in our department’s academic life, as well as his service to the wider university community through previous academic leadership roles. In addition to his career at Concordia, Dr. Hansen also holds appointments as research fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) and research associate at CIRANO and CIREQ.
