Karine Balé and Émilie Martel recognized at the Engagement Awards Celebration
The Department of Economics congratulates two of its members for their recognition at the April 18 Concordia Engagement Awards Celebration:
Karine Balé, BA Honours Economics and member of the Institute for Co-operative Education
Sustainability Champion Award
Ms. Balé was recognized for her efforts in building awareness around sustainability initiatives at Concordia, as well as a CEED entrepreneur and an advocate for student housing and affordable living in Montreal.
Émilie Martel, Program Coordinator of Internships and Experiential Learning
Concordia Council on Student Life (CCSL) Outstanding Contribution Award
Ms. Martel has been a Concordia employee since 2008 and has been recognized for her participation in various initiatives, including the Navigator program and the Concordia Shuffle advisory committee, as well as for her commitment to helping students excel at Concordia.
