The Department congratulates the EconomicSense undergraduate student team for hosting their first research summit on Saturday, May 18th, 2024. Co-founded by Charles-Étienne Sirois and Rayan Mohamed, EconomicSense is Concordia's first undergraduate research journal in Economics and related topics.
Out of over 50 applicants, the EconomicSense team selected five students and provided them the opportunity to gain their first supervised research experience relating to the broader theme of "21st Century Problems and Solutions."
The department salutes Sophie Beaudet, Stéphanie Gagnon, Derek Manzo and Shengwen Xu, who were awarded following the presentations at the event. Thanks are due to Economics students Fatima Bark and Pierre-Olivier Cormier, whose tireless work made the project a reality.
