Two History Faculty Members Win SSHRC IDG Competition!

Congratulations to Michael Ferguson and Allan Lumba, who have been successful in the SSHRC IDG competition!

Michael Ferguson's new project is entitled "Valley of Saints, Fields of Tomatoes: The Lebanese Community of Leamington, Ontario."  It involves oral and food histories.

Allan Lumba's new project, “Subsidence: Surfacing Life in a Sinking City," fits well with the department's emerging cluster on the history of capitalism and it will look at the extraction of natural resources.
