Concordia University Institute for Canadian Jewish Studies presents
a lecture by Institute Visiting Professor Nadia Malinovich: France in the American Jewish Imagination, 1945- to the Present.
Nadia Malinovich is an associate Professor of American Studies at the
Université de Picardie Jules Verne and a CNRS researcher with the GSRL (Groupe Sociétés, Religions, Laïcités). She is the author of French and Jewish: Culture and the Politics of Identity in Early Twentieth Century France (Oxford: Littman Library of Jewish Studies, 2008). Her current research is focused on individuals who studied at the schools of Alliance Israélite Universelle in the Arab-Muslim world and then immigrated to Canada, the United States and France.
