Samuel Kassow is Charles H. Northam Professor of History at Trinity College. He is the author of Students Professors and the State in Tsarist Russia: 1884-1917 (1989), The Distinctive Life of East European Jewry (2003) and Who will Write Our History: Emanuel Ringelblum and the Secret Ghetto Archive (2007). He is also co-editor of Between Tsar and People (1993) and edited In Those Nightmarish Days: the Ghetto Reportage of Peretz Opoczynski and Josef Zelkowicz (2016).

Lecture: Samuel Kassow "Reportage in the Ghetto"
The Concordia University Institute for Canadian Jewish Studies in partnership with the Jewish Public Library and the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre present a public lecture by Professor Samuel Kassow of Trinity College.
The lecture will take place on Thursday Night, September 19 at 7:30 PM In the Atrium of the SB Building, Concordia University, 1590, Dr. Penfield (corner Cote-des Neiges; Metro: Guy-Concordia). Light refreshments will be served.
