Due to COVID-19, Projected Futures 4 will not be offered this summer. We hope to return next summer to explore the future of science journalism, including how hype and misinformation have affected us all. All those that applied will receive a personal note. Stay safe and healthy.

The Department of Journalism is proud to announce its 4th Science Journalism Summer School, Projected Futures 4, running from July 20 to 24, 2020.
Projected Futures 4 is a unique, blended course that occurs both online and in person. It is an unforgettable experience.
The intensive and experiential summer school challenges participants to rethink how science is communicated with society. Graduate students will be exposed to the foundations of evidence-based science journalism and then asked to experiment to create new forms of scientific storytelling. This year's school will focus on hype.
