Upcoming Plurilingual Lab panel features member Angelica Galante

CSLP member and Plurilingual lab director Angelica Galante will be participating in an upcoming virtual panel titled “Plurilingualism and translanguaging: Pedagogical approaches for empowerment and validation.” As part of the lab’s speaker series, the panel, set for December 9th at noon, will feature 22 experts and contributors to an upcoming special issue in the TESL Canada Journal on plurilingualism (co-edited by Galante and Caroline Payant). The event will be carried out primarily in English.
All panelists will present their articles in the special issue, which feature research on plurilingual learners’ language development, identity construction, and teacher education from diverse contexts and theoretical perspectives.
Angelica Galante, membre du CEAP et directrice du Plurilingual Lab, participera à un panel virtuel intitulé "Plurilingualism and translanguaging: Pedagogical approaches for empowerment and validation." Dans le cadre de la série de conférences du laboratoire, le panel, prévu pour le 9 décembre à midi, mettra en vedette 22 expert.e.s et contributeur.rice.s à un numéro spécial du TESL Canada Journal sur le plurilinguisme (co-édité par Galante et Caroline Payant). L'événement se déroulera principalement en anglais.
Les panélistes présenteront leurs articles dans le numéro spécial, qui met en avant les recherches sur le développement du langage des apprenants plurilingues, la construction de leur identité et la formation des enseignant.e.s à partir de divers contextes et perspectives théoriques.
