Le français suivra.
The CSLP invites you to join us at CoVivre’s upcoming forum, “La communauté au coeur: Dialogue autour des initiatives et des pratiques durant la pandémie”, held Wednesday September 14 to Friday September 16 at the Delta Hotel in Montreal, Quebec to reflect on the disproportionate impact COVID-19 has had, and continues to have, on vulnerable or marginalized peoples.
Organized by CSLP member Dre Cécile Rousseau this three-day forum aims to bring together community, academic, and philanthropic partners who work with vulnerable or marginalized peoples to reflect on the challenges and successes of the past few years to better prepare for future crises and further strengthen the vitality that drives our communities.
The “La communauté au coeur” forum features panel discussions as well as thematic and deliberative workshops organized over four main themes. CSLP member Dre Cécile Rousseau will moderate the opening panel, setting the tone for the forum’s introductory theme of “Pandémie, inégalités et démocratie”. Subsequent panel discussions will cover additional themes and sub-themes, such as each followed by five concurrent thematic or deliberative workshops.
CSLP member Diana Miconi will oversee the first round of Theme 2 workshops, which will feature CSLP member Vivek Venkatesh and Horizon Postdoc Jessie Beier. Together, they will present: “Pédagogie sociale pour bâtir une résilience durable avec les communautés marginalisées”, an oral performance with live improvised visuals.
The forum will take place in French and participants may ask questions in French or English.
Sign up for La communauté au coeur on Eventbrite.
