From May 4 to June 8, 2024 Concordia’s Department of Art Education will be hosting a workshop series for those interested in Art Education. The workshops will cover various topics, including child art, textile techniques, environment in art, narrative approaches, classroom management, inclusivity, museum education, and contextualized education.
The series will be of interest to practicing art educators and other teachers, student teachers and those studying in the department, as well as anyone interested in exploring art education within your profession. The workshops will be held by graduate students in the MA and Ph.D. programs, as well as Concordia alumni.
The series will be held on Saturdays and two Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. starting on May 4 and ending on June 8, 2024. Lunch and coffee will be provided. Please arrive 15 minutes early every morning. The workshops are delivered in English, but questions will be taken in English or French.
Participants who attend at least 4 workshop days will receive a certificate.
