This Fall, the CSLP is pleased to host a new series organized by Casey Burkholder (Canada Research Chair in Social Justice and Child Studies, Associate Professor in Concordia’s Department of Education). The “Works in Progress Sessions” (WIPS x Concordia) will offer a collegial and informal space where Department of Education faculty and graduate students will present their research work in progress, or lead discussions of questions that are currently on their minds as researchers.
WIPS x Concordia presenters will give a 10–15-minute informal presentation about their work(s)-in-progress, followed by questions and a facilitated group discussion. WIPS X Concordia is free and open to all. Sessions will run from 12-1pm at the CSLP.
WIPS X Concordia will get underway on September 24, when Burkholder kicks things off herself with “On Queer Joy Pedagogy”.
