Concordia University’s School of Health (SoH) is teaming up with key institutional research centers, including the Centre for the Study of Learning and Performance (CSLP), to support outstanding graduate research in health. The SoH Graduate Awards, valued at $5,000 each, aim to recognize thesis-based graduate students conducting impactful health-related research while contributing meaningfully to their academic or professional communities.
The CSLP's involvement underscores a strengthened partnership with the SoH, reinforcing Concordia’s commitment to promoting excellence and equity in health research. By participating in the selection process, the CSLP and other research centers will help ensure that the awards reflect the full spectrum of health-focused scholarship across the university.
In line with Concordia’s strategy for equity, diversity, and inclusion, applicants must be full-time thesis-based graduate students at the university for the Winter 2025 term, with a GPA of 3.00 or higher and a research focus on health. Successful candidates are expected to present their work at the annual SoH conference in May 2025.
Applications must be submitted by March 3, 2025, through the research center most closely aligned with the applicant's supervisor’s affiliation. Required documents include a cover page, student record, CV, and a supervisor’s nomination letter. This initiative reflects a collaborative effort to foster cutting-edge health research and support Concordia’s thriving academic community.
