The Jim Moore Scholarship was created by John F. Cordeau, BA Loyola College '72, in honour and in grateful recognition of his former Professor, Distinguished Professor Emeritus James (“Jim”) Moore (pictured here). Professor Moore was one of the founding members of the College. Donated in the spring of 2019, this in-course scholarship is automatically awarded in the fall of each year to the current LCDS minor student with the highest assessment GPA. This year’s award winter was Dominique Gravel, a straight A student majoring in Athletic Therapy and minoring in Sustainability Studies. The College Community extends congratulations to Dominique and thanks to John Cordeau and Professor Moore for allowing outstanding in-course students to be recognized at the College.
