The Loyola Sustainability Research Centre is excited to welcome six new researchers to its list of fellows and associates.
Dr. Jeannine-Marie St.-Jacques (pictured here) is Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment. With a Ph.D. in Biology from Queens University, Dr. St.-Jacques' research focusses in the areas of paleoclimatology, climatology, and hydrology.
Dr. Rashree Prakash is Associate Professor in the Department of Management. With a Ph.D. in Organizational Analysis form the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta, Dr. Prakash researches the drivers, processes, and outcomes for sustainable change in institutions and organizations by focusing on models of social innovation,environmental sustainability and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Bengi Akbulut is Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment. With a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Massachussetts, Amherst, the research interests of Dr. Akbulut include the political economy of development, agrarian change, rural development, and well-being, as well as the history of development economics.
Dr. Joel Bothello is Assistant Professor in the Department of Management. With a Ph.D. from ESSEC Business School in France, Dr. Bothello's research investigates how organizational governance can be shaped by the use of transnational "soft-law" tools such as standards, compacts, rankings, directives, certification schemes and awards.
Dr. Leonard Sklar is Professor in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment. With a Ph.D. in Geology and Geophysics from the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Sklar's research focuses on earth surface processes and landscape evolution, sediment production and transport, water resources management, ecological and geomorphic process interactions, and global change and sustainability science.
Dr. Shannon Lloyd is Assistant Professor in the Department of Management. With a Ph.D. in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, Dr. Lloyd's research expertise includes life cycle assessment, sustainability science, sustainability integration, and technology policy.
