Emma Despland and Liz Miller on Environmental degradation and the pandemic

In this first of the monthly webinar series of the Loyola Sustainability Research Centre entitled Sustainability and the Pandemic, Professors Emma Despland (Biology) and Elizabeth Miller (Communication Studies) discuss how human activities have contributed to the spread of diseases like COVID-19 from other animals to people and the implications of this in terms of waste management in the city. This event was hosted in collaboration with Concordia's 4th space and the Loyola College for Diversity and Sustainability.
