1. Three people killed near Mboki

“Trois personnes tuées par une bande armée à proximité de la ville de Mboki.” Centrafrique Presse Info (CPI), 14 September 2015. In French.

• Three people were killed and their motorbike burned in an attack by an unidentified armed group about 12 kilometers from the town of Mboki.
• This group of armed men attacked and robbed a driver in the same region on 12 September.
• The gendarmerie has opened an investigation into these crimes, but no information has been given as to the identities of the armed group or of the victims. 

2. UN Peacekeepers accused of pornographic acts

• UN peacekeepers from the Cameroon contingent of MINUSCA have been accused of creating pornography in the Ouham region in the north of CAR. The pornographic photos and videos were reportedly circulated via cell phone in the sub-region on Batangafo.
• Local leaders have opened an investigation into the matter. As of the time of publication, neither MINUSCA nor the transitional government had made any public statement on these new allegations.
• This latest case adds to seventeen allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation committed by UN actors in CAR.

• On 19 September 2015, MINUSCA leaders announced that they had opened an investigation into allegations that the Cameroonian contingent of MINUSCA made and distributed a pornographic film in the town of Batangafo in central-west CAR.
• In the statement, MINUSCA said that no local leaders or residents were able to show proof of the film, and urged anyone with tangible proof to submit the evidence. 

3. UN civilian staff accused of sexual abuse

• On 12 September 2015, MINUSCA was informed of a case of alleged sexual abuse committed by a member of its civilian staff in CAR.
• MINUSCA informed the CAR authorities and opened an investigation into the allegations.
• There are currently 17 cases of alleged exploitation and sexual abuse under investigation by MINUSCA. Among these, 13 involve UN military personnel, one involves a member of the police, one is a civilian, and two are unidentified.
