1. FDLR burned over 600 homes in North Kivu

- Rebels from the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) burned 620 homes, Wednesday night.
- It took place in two villages in the Wanyanga group in Walikale territory in North Kivu.
2. 6 decapitated by the FDLR

- 6 civilians decapitated by the FDLR. The victims were from Kitambala and Misinga, villages located near iKobo and Kisimba in Wanyanga, north of Walikale Territory.
- The CEPADHO alert the FARDC and MONUSCO on genocide that continues endlessly in this area by the FDLR.
- "Our organization is calling for urgent action by the Congolese authorities and the international community," challenges the CEPADHO.
24 Killed in Eringetti, attack led by Ugandan Islamist group ADF

- Sunday, Ugandan Islamist group, the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) led an attack in Eringetti, leaving 24 dead.
- 7 civilians, 1 UN peacekeeper and 4 soldiers are among the dead
- 40 attackers entered the town killing indiscriminately.
- Attackers blocked the town's military base and a position of the UN peacekeeping mission.
- Over 20,000 villagers have reported, have fled the area.
4. General Jean Baillaud: attacks by ADF are terrorist

- Force Commander of MONUSCO, General Jean Baillaud described the attacks by the rebel group, ADF as terrorist.
- Baillaud stressed the particularity of the ADF over other world terrorist groups. ADF have no political interlocutors. It is not easy to communicate with the Ugandan rebels, he said.
- MONUSCO Baillaud stressed, "These operations will last.”
