The event “Global Diplomacy in the Digital Age: Decoding how Technology is Transforming International Relations,” organized by MIGS alongside the Department of Political Science and the Canadian International Council, was ranked as the second best digital diplomacy conference of the year according to the State of Digital Diplomacy, 2016.

MIGS, in collaboration with UQAM, organized the “21st Century Diplomacy: The Challenges and Opportunities Diplomats Face in the Digital Age.” The conference was a follow-up of the Global Diplomacy Lab aimed at discussing the practices and challenges faced by state actors as they adapt to new technologies.
