Stephanie Cheng at the Association for Philosophy and Literature Conference

Stephanie Cheng, MA Student in Philosophy, presented a paper at the Association for Philosophy and Literature 2019 Conference, which took place 29 May - 2 June in Klagenfurt, Austria. Cheng's paper was entitled “Wandering Through Time/Through Anselm Kiefer: Art Will Survive its Ruins." It explored the themes of regeneration and destruction through the artwork of Anselm Kiefer and philosophers G.W.F Hegel, Martin Heidegger, Heraclitus, and Walter Benjamin.

The APL 2019 Conference theme was “Truth, Fiction, Illusion, Worlds and Experience.”
