Michael Giesbrecht at the Collegium Phaenomenologicum, Italy

Michael Giesbrecht, MA student in Philosophy, participated in the 44th Collegium Phaenomenologicum session in Critical Phenomenology: Rethinking Politics, Affect, and Normativity in Città di Castello, Umbria, Italy, 8-26 July 2019.

The Collegium is intended for faculty members and advanced graduate and postdoctoral students in philosophy and related disciplines. The core of the program consists of a series of lecture courses, individual lectures, and intensive text-based seminars.

Prof. Matthias Fritsch led a lecture course as part of the Collegium on "Deconstruction and Critique: From Double Affirmation to Minimal Friendship" with invited talks by Bettina Bergo and Ted Toadvine. Prof. Matthias Fritsch is Professor of Philosophy at Concordia University.
