Concordia Physics participates in a $8M CFI funded research project
The Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI), le Gouvernement du Québec, and partner institutions awarded funding for a new $8M research project titled New Initiative for Quantum Information Science and Technology – NIQUIST in which Concordia Physics is a collaborator. The team of researchers involved in the project includes Prof. Alexandre Champagne from the Department of Physics at Concordia, as well as researchers based at Sherbrooke (PI: Prof. B. Reulet) and McGill.
The funding awarded will serve to acquire state-of-the-art nanofabrication equipment (helium-beam lithography system) and ultra-low temperature cryostats to explore quantum electron transport in nanosystems.
