"Making Heaven on Earth: A Study of the Nava Tirupati Temples in South India"

Leslie Orr will be undertaking research in India in August 2017 -- together with other members of a team including Crispin Branfoot (SOAS), Anna Seastrand (University of Chicago), and Archana Venkatesan (UC Davis) -- for the project "Making Heaven on Earth: A Study of the Nava Tirupati temples in South India". The project is supported by an American Academy of Religion Collaborative Research Grant and the Indian Cultural Heritage Trust.
