Congratulations - Dr. Gada Mahrouse

The Women’s and Gender Studies/Recherches feministes Association (WGSRF) has just awarded Dr. Gada Mahrouse with the Outstanding Scholarship Prize for her 2014 book: Conflicted Commitments. 

Dr. Mahrouse began teaching at the Institute in 2007.  In addition to teaching the Introduction to Contemporary Concerns in Women's Studies, Dr. Mahrouse also teaches courses on Feminisms, Race, and Racisms, Postcolonial & anti‐colonial feminist theories and practices, Contemporary tourism and relations of power, and Women and Humor.
