Dr. Matthew Anderson awarded a Research and Creation Grant
Theological Studies faculty member receives award to write his novel

The Canada Council is awarding Dr. Matthew Anderson a Research and Creation Grant of $24,700. This grant assists professional writers of fiction in completing a project.
With the help of the grant, Dr. Anderson will edit the final draft of his novel The Clergy House of Rest. The novel is a literary mystery set in Cacouna, Quebec, where the sweeping estuary, the tides, the whales, the Maliseet First Nation, and a small, eccentric anglophone population with roots reaching back to the founding of Rivière-du-Loup all contribute to an atmospheric plot.
