New LTA in the Department of Theological Studies

The Department of Theological Studies is very happy to announce that Dr. Richard Bernier accepted the Limited Term Position in Systematics/Contextual Theology and Spirituality beginning August 1, 2021. Dr. Bernier is a lifelong Montrealer who has worked in the federal public service and in university administration, and has experience in pastoral and spiritual accompaniment. His research and teaching have focused on philosophical, systematic (or fundamental) and contextual theology, ethics, and on pastoral care and spirituality, especially in the Byzantine and Ignatian traditions. We heartily welcome Dr. Bernier and look forward to working with him in the upcoming academic year.
