Michelle Nokken, Associate Professor in the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering, has been elected a Fellow of the American Concrete Institute.
This recognition has been bestowed in honour of her outstanding contributions to the production or use of concrete materials, products, and structures in the areas of education and research, development. In addition, Nokken has made significant contributions to the ACI through committees and the local chapters.
The American Concrete Institute is a nonprofit technical and educational society established in 1904. It is one of the world's leading authorities on concrete technology. ACI is a forum for the discussion of all matters related to concrete and the development of solutions to problems.
