Important message regarding GSSP funds
The following message was sent to all graduate students in the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science:
It has been brought to our attention that a delay in disbursement of GSSP funds may be causing hardship for a significant number of students within the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science. On behalf of Concordia University, please accept our sincere apologies for this regrettable situation.
With the deadline to pay fall tuition approaching, we have made arrangements to relieve some of this stress. Specifically, all students whose GSSP funds were delayed this summer will be granted an extension to October 28, 2013, for paying fall tuition, and will remain in good standing with the University. You will be allowed to register for fall or winter courses without incurring any late fees or interest charges. Furthermore, we will be crediting the accounts of affected students by the amount of $500.00 as compensation for possible financial difficulties or hardship.
We hope these measures will reassure you that Concordia is committed to a positive student experience. If you have any questions about the arrangement we have made regarding GSSP payments, please email at encsmail@concordia.ca.

A: There has been no reduction in GSSP payments for the 2013/14 academic year. The Faculty has retained the same funding levels for 2013/2014 as for the previous year. However, individual students' cases may vary considerably. Students with concerns or questions about their own specific situation should consult their supervisor first.
