Undergraduate student Amélie Lessard has won a prize – “Prix Excelle Science” – worth $2,000 from Quebec’s Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de la Science. She was one of just 20 university prize winners this year. The industrial engineering student was previously enrolled in East Asian studies and Japanese before becoming a coordinator for business development with an engineering firm. It was this experience that compelled her to enroll in the Faculty at Concordia.
