What should a smart approach to construction waste management include?
Construction, renovation, and demolition waste represent about one third of total solid waste in Canada. Even though most of these materials could be reused or recycled, they are often landfilled.
How can we as researchers, professionals and community members address this gap?
The smart management of construction waste is multifaceted and should include strategies applied throughout the lifecycle of assets.
