Dr. Andreas Athienitis awarded Senior NSERC Industrial Research Chair
Andreas Athienitis from the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering, has been named the inaugural chairholder of the Senior NSERC Industrial Research Chair in Optimized Operation and Energy Efficiency: toward High Performance Buildings at Concordia. The new chair was made possible thanks to more than $2 million in funding from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), Hydro-Québec, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and Régulvar.
