A paper coauthored by Dr. Shang and his PhD students Zishuo Ding and Jinfu Chen, "Towards the Use of the Readily Available Tests from the Release Pipeline as Performance Tests. Are We There Yet?" has won an ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award for ICSE 2020.
