Biography:
Jinxing (Jerry) Xiao has consulted for a wide array of top medical device companies, including Medtronic, J&J (Biosense Webster, Ethicon, Abiomed), Philips Healthcare, Becton Dickinson, Zimmer Biomet, Abbott, DJO Global, and ICU Medical. He also provides support to small to medium-sized companies, such as Syncardia, Verb Surgical (Google+JnJ), Intouch Health, Vyaire Medical. His expertise in product risk management covers critical devices such as the Total Artificial Heart, Heart Pump, Pacemaker, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD), Robotic Surgical, Pump (Insulin, Infusion), Ventilator, Orthopedic Product, Lead, etc. He holds the following professional titles: CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), CQA (Certified Quality Auditor), CSSBB (Certified Six Sigma Black Belt), and CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer) from ASQ (America Society for Quality). Jerry obtained Master’s Degree in Quality System Engineering from CIISE, Concordia University (Montreal). Mr. Xiao has been invited to make presentation at various ASQ sections over the past decade. Most recently, he received an invitation to speak at BOSCON 2023, scheduled for November 5-7, 2023.
He is the owner of RDQCC (Risk-Driven Quality Consulting Company LLC), located in San Diego, California.
