Call for Applications: Brucebo Fine Art Summer Residency Scholarship

The Faculty of Fine Arts invites applications for the Brucebo Fine Art Summer Residency Scholarship, offering a three-month residency in Summer 2025. The application deadline is Monday, March 3, 2025, at 12 pm (noon).

This residency provides an inspiring work-study experience for the most promising graduate students in the visual arts, supporting their transition to a professional career. It is awarded through competition based on academic merit to full-time graduate students nearing the completion of their degree (MA, MFA, MDes, as well as the MA/PhD Individualized Program and the Interdisciplinary Humanities PhD, with a primary supervisor in the Fine Arts) in Concordia’s Faculty of Fine Arts.

Eligible applicants must have a studio-based research-creation practice. Performance-based art practices are not eligible, unless they are undertaken within the context of contemporary visual arts practices and form a minority of the applicant’s practice.

The Scholarship competition is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents only. For full details, please consult the award details and application form.

Call for Applications: William Blair Bruce European Fine Art Travel Scholarship

The Faculty of Fine Arts also invites applications for the William Blair Bruce European Fine Art Travel Scholarship, a European research travel program in Summer 2025. The application deadline is Monday, March 3, 2025, at 12 pm (noon).

This travel scholarship is granted based on academic merit, to full-time students pursuing a Master’s (MA, MFA, MDes) or Doctorate (PhD) degree in the Faculty of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) at Concordia University nearing the completion of their degrees. Eligible applicants include those with a studio-based research-creation practice, including MA, MFA, MDes, as well as the MA/PhD Individualized Program (INDI) and the Interdisciplinary Humanities PhD Program (HUMA), with a primary supervisor in the Faculty of Fine Arts.
