2024 Call: EAHR Archive Residency
The Ethnocultural Art Histories Research Group (EAHR) is launching a new archival residency this year, the Y-EAHR Book Archival Residency: EAHR’s Fourteenth Anniversary. We are looking to hire two motivated students (1 Undergraduate + 1 Master’s) as researchers to (1) critically engage with EAHR's archives compiled this past semester, reflecting on EAHR’s history, presence, and influence on Concordia, and (2) co-author the introduction to our archive yearbook which we intend to publish in time for Concordia’s 50th-anniversary celebration during homecoming this fall.
The text is expected to be a minimum of 1,000 words. EAHR core members will mentor students with no less than three meetings for feedback and consultation. Both students must start the residency by April 30 and complete the residency by June 30. Each student researcher will receive an honorarium of $500 for a minimum of 25 hours of work: $300 will be paid at the beginning of the residency (start date must be before April 30), and the remaining $200 will be payable at the end of the residency upon submission of final approved text for publication (after copy editing and proofing) which must be no later than June 30.
