Curating, Criticism and Care by Dr. Joana Joachim

This essay presents a brief discussion of the inaugural Black Curators Forum as well as a reflection on the need and potential for critical arts writing in the Canadian art milieu as it relates to Black Canadian art histories specifically. I use the framework of care and a way to think through the significance of such textual documentation and its role within Black cultural production.
