Newly published Cinema of Exploration: Essays on an Adventurous Film Practice co-edited by Professor Luca Caminati

We are pleased to share the work of our very own Film Studies Professor Luca Caminati’s who, together with Associate Professor James Leo Cahill (University of Toronto), recently released their edited collection Cinema of Exploration: Essays on an Adventurous Film Practice. Cinema of Exploration: Essays on an Adventurous Cinema was released in December 2020 by Routledge. The book’s 348 pages feature 18 unique contributions from international scholars who examine the history of cinematic exploration. In all, it explores colonial forms, decolonial radical cinemas, the perceptual voyage of senses and more.
