EXPRESSIVE THERAPIES CONTINUUM WORKSHOP
A framework for understanding and using the interactions with art media and imagery
Dr. Lisa. D. Hinz elaborated a practical, theoretical framework for evaluation and intervention in art therapy. She developed this framework from Vija Lusebrink's Expressive Therapies Continuum (ETC) which examines the therapeutic process on many levels; among others, image formation, the physical, emotional, cognitive and creative levels. In this workshop you will learn to use this framework to assess client interactions with art media, discover the client's preferences and needs and determine directions for choice of art media and art therapy interventions. Offered in English with simultaneous translation.
This hands-on workshop is for art therapists, creative arts therapists and psychotherapists of any theoretical orientation interested in learning how to apply the ETC. Friday September 26, 2014, 9 am to 5 pm
